Despite all the current negativity surrounding Dead Space 3’s mainstream appeal and pay-to-win micro-transactions, I’m pretty excited – because I know that even though the game might not scare the pants off of me, it’ll be a pretty damned solid action experience, made all the better by co-op. EA’s released the game’s launch trailer – and the biggest surprise is the absolute and complete lack of dubstep whatsoever.
The launch trailer features actual gameplay footage, a remix of Phil Collins’ in the air tonight (without any drum-playing gorillas) and gives us a a good look at the once-timid-engineer-turned-kickass-psychopath Isaac Clarke as played by Gunner Wright. Gears of War on Ice Dead Space 3 releases on February 8 (That’s NEXT WEEK!) for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It’ll feature Kinect voice options and microtransaction system to help lazy gamers build better guns earlier on.
How will you be taking on the Necromorph menace; alone, or co-operatively?
