Bioshock Infinite will NOT have multiplayer

The original Bioshock was one of the best single player experience of this generation and as such will always remain an icon of this generation. Then Bioshock 2 was released and while the actual quality of the title was just as good the story wasn’t and many fans pointed to the inclusion of multiplayer for this.

The best advancement in this generation as been the online ability of consoles but this has had the unfortunate side effect of pushing developers to try and include multiplayer into even the most obvious single player title.

I  mean your stuck on the bottom of the ocean, by yourself, and they decided multiplayer was something this title missed?

Thankfully the powers that be at 2K Games have come to their senses and Ken Levine has now confirmed that Bioshock: Infinite will not have any multiplayer experience what so ever.

Earlier this year it was rumoured that the title was delayed while they tried to hammer out some multiplayer issues so we don’t know whether they simply couldn’t fix the issues or if that rumour was false.

Personally I don’t care as long as they ship the title the way it is meant to be, single player only.

Bioshock: Infinite is expected to be released on the 26th of February on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. No news yet on whether it will make an appearance on the Wii-U
