It seems like the major release period for games has been moved from November/December to January/February with yet another major title seeing it’s release date slipping to Q1 2010.

Army of Two: The 40th Day has joined a growing list of titles that aren’t going to be seen in the pre-Christmas rush.

The full list of delayed titles is looking pretty impressive now with Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Red Steel 2, Dark Void, Red Dead Redemption, Mafia 2, James Bond, Star Craft 2 and GT 5 all crowding the first 3 months of 2010.

Have they announced the GT5 delay yet?

Haha they’re all scared of releasing at the same time as COD:MW2! 😀

    and uncharted 2.

i hope the developers aren’t using a busy 4th quarter as an excuse for something else. I mean Q1 2010 is looking worse than Q4 2009, in terms of AAA titles.

    isn’t Heavy Rain also a Q1 release?
