Forza Horizon 3 demo coming next week 2

Forza Horizon 3 is on track for its release later this month, transporting players from the French countryside of the last title to the more varied, tricky terrain of the Australian outback. The more arcade racer of the series, Horizon has so far delivered two sublime games, and its third looks like it won’t slow down the pace. But if you’re really unsure, there’s a chance for you to jump in and try it without consequence.

Listed on the Microsoft Store and picked up by NeoGAF, it seems the Forza Horizon 3 will be getting a demo as early as Sunday. Although the store page makes no mention of what region or time zone it is referring to, the listing states that the demo will launch on Sunday at 8pm. It’ll also clock in at 18.34GB to download.

The blurb has been lifted from the full title, so there’s also no indication of what content there might be for players to dabbled around with before launch. There’s also no word about a release on PC, although given that Horizon 3 will launch simultaneously across both it and Xbox One, it’s likely the demo will as well.

The first two Forza Horizon titles also received demos, so this wouldn’t bee too out of whack with what Microsoft has done before. Although for all their exclusives, it’s certainly not one that needs it. Horizon has upheld a high standard of racing since its inception, and the second one moved the series forward in leaps and bounds. It’s why I was so impressed with it two years ago.

The first Horizon was hailed as one of the best racing titles on the Xbox 360, and its sequel just raises the bar. As an arcade or simulation racer, there’s not that much that Forza Horizon 2 does wrong. This shouldn’t even be a question for racing fanatics, and I’ll easily recommend it to every other Xbox owner out there.

Forza Horizon 3 is out on Xbox One and PC this September 27th.

Totally. Sounds like a blast. Wait ten minutes for demo movie to finish playing, then race!

I love the races in Horizon, just fun.
