Last month local broadcasting and tournament host Nav TV announced their Mall Gaming Experience, an eSports road show which brought Dota 2 to the early morning shoppers of various malls throughout Gauteng. The decision to go on the road came after a successful competition at the Mall of The South in April where South Africa’s top Dota 2, CS:GO, and FIFA players battled it out at Vodacom’s Gamer’s Fest.

The Cradlestone Mall will play host next to four of South Africa’s top Dota 2 teams as they aim to showcase their skills at the Mall Gaming Experience’s first stop.

The Four teams are:

  • White Rabbit Gaming
  • Reversal eSports
  • FlipSid3 Tactics South Africa
  • Energy eSports

The four teams will be playing for a spot in the Grand Final with a R150 000 prize pool, and there will also be a cosplay competition with R15 000 up for grabs. The competition is split into four legs, the first being The Cradlestone Mall, with succeeding LANs ending with the Grand Final where the three qualified teams will take on Gamer’s Fest winners Bravado Gaming.

Why would he hide it from you? Is he ashamed?

Nah he just forgets to say certain things. The money isn’t a big deal – the going to Jhb is. Probably traumatising for him.
