It’s rapidly approaching the end of the year, which means it’s very nearly time for football fans to get a double digital dose of the beautiful game. FIFA 16 and Pro Evolution Soccer 16 are set for release rather soon, and this year the fight over which is best is likely to be closer than ever. Where FIFA always does, and likely always will come up tops though is in its official licences – and not just of teams, players and leagues.

EA also has sole licences for many of the stadia littered all over the globe, which have been faithfully and beautifully recreated in game. Here’s a great big list of all of the stadia you’ll be able to kick a virtual ball around as you take Liverpool to the top of the Premiere League – as that’s something that can only ever be done in videogames.

FIFA 16 hits the  PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 22. Its direct competitor, Konami’s PES 16 is coming  about a week earlier, and will also have a downloadable demo available for you play next week.
