Final Fantasy VII was the first JRPG experience for many gamers. Since the announcement of the Playstation 3 a few years ago, people have been clamouring for a remake of the iconic title. Those cries have gone unheard… until now.
Yes, it gives me great satisfaction to bring you the news that Final Fantasy VII is getting a remake. No, not some HD spit and polish, but an actual, re-envisioned title built from the ground up. Here’s the trailer:
I still have goosebumps, seriously. Final Fantasy VII is one of my all time favourite games, and one I have happily played again, and again, and again, over the past few years.
A complete remake? Hell yes, I’m already seated on that hype train! I cannot wait for more details on this game to surface. All we have at the moment is a cinematic. I would love to see some actual gameplay now!

Haha. Fans will hate this when it comes out. They wouldn’t like any of the changes, other than the graphics upgrade. It will be eps 1-3 of star wars all over again.
