Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is almost upon us. But, contrary to Darryn’s insistence, playing with others can be way more fun than playing with yourself. Megarom is teaming up with Internet Solutions to let a bunch of locals get together for some dungeon raiding.
Taking place on 29 March 2014, you get to meet real people and go get some awesome loot. So, how does it work? Well, first things first, you’ll need to pre-order Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. You can do this through any of your preferred retail outlets, but if you’d like to help us pay for Darryn’s mail away bride, here is the Kalahari link. In fact, it’s on sale and with free deliver on Kalahari, so all the more reason to buy either the normal or collector’s edition.
Once you have a pre-order, you can head on over to the data mining site entry form. Sign up includes dietary requirements, so it would seem that you not only get to use Internet Solution’s high speed internet and LAN capabilities, but they will also be feeding you while you go raiding. Remember, you will need to bring your own computer and accessories. They will simply provide you with a room, tables, chairs, ports, food and a good vibe. So really, all the things that are missing from your current set up. That reminds me, I really need a new desk chair.
Sign up now – Megarom will do the draw and invite the winners before the event. Sounds like a cool chance to meet fellow Diablo fans, eat some food and score some loot. Oh, and before our awesome Cape Town readers ask for their pirate ship of awesomeness – Megarom does want to hold a similar event in the mother city at some point. They are just looking for a venue that can accommodate the hipster level of coolness required for Cape Town; when that day comes, you can expect all kinds of fun community things in your area, too.

On a side note, I started the Diablo 3 Lazygamer community.
I made it the same as the twitter handle: “LazygamerNet”.
We can use this to organise some in game runs and random events.

I was at that LAN, even in the picture. Kinda makes me a little sad that I retired my ancient PC in favor of the PS4, but when it comes out on the PS, ima play the bejesus out of this game

Better to face these Prime Evils than the ones sitting in parliament.
