Competitive video games. You’re in it for the challenge. The glory. The competition. But most importantly, for some sweet prizes. If you’re almost as brutally materialistic as I am, then you’re going to want to read further, because the upcoming Do Gaming League has just what you need to fill several voids in your life.
R1.30 million in prizes is up for grabs this year, which makes this the largest pool of prizes in SA gaming history according to Do Gaming.

- Electronic Arts
- CoolerMaster

This is really awesome.
Big-up to all the sponsors and good luck to all the players.
So happy to see these sponsors take such an interest in local gaming.

Telkom are apparently laying a 140mb line down, specially for the championships.
140mb line support, while Im still getting daytime throttled and cap limitations on my uncapped 2mb

I know right. But what do you expect from aliens. I don’t know why they don’t call their PCs Humanware.

I’m moving. What a damn headache. Telkom phones me yesterday with regards to my new number. My cell rings once and then I get a msg saying that they cannot get hold of me and I should call them at…..
They clearly tried very hard to get hold of me.

Will this be MSSA monitored or sanctioned?
Hammersteyn
September 18, 2013 at 14:00
Hopefully not
Matthew Holliday
September 18, 2013 at 14:08
Shouldnt be, its always been a private event, unaffiliated with the MSSA.
rAge is a NAG thing, the rAge LAN is just the venue for the DGL championships, the championships themselves are arranged by the DGL guys.
you can expect the MSSA people to be there, but with no official position.
Aside from that, I dont think the sponsors would care to put up with the MSSAs BS

No
Matthew Holliday
September 18, 2013 at 13:59
But Bravado, who are already sponsored by alienware, already has teams in all those events, favored to win/come 2nd in all of them, all already have alienware PCs and gear.
Anyway, massive prizes, super stoked for the guys who are in the running for them.
