FIFA 14 on consoles uses EA’s fancy new Ignite engine, which significantly affects player and ball physics, making the new-gen versions of the football simulator the ones to play.Unfortunately, the same can;t be said for the PC version of FIFA 14 – which despite looking prettier, is essentially a last generation game. Not so with FIFA 15.

EA’s has said that FIFA 15 on the PC will use the fancy new tech, matching the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game. Here’s are the PC specs you’ll need to run FIFA 15 on your pc.

Recommended specifications:
  • OS: Windows V/7/8/8.1 -64-bit
  • CPU: Intel i5-2550K @ 3.4Ghz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Hard Drive Space Required: 15.0 GB
  • Supported Video Cards: ATI Radeon HD 6870, NVIDIA GTX 460
  • DirectX: 11.0
Minimum specifications:
  • OS: Windows V/7/8/8.1 -64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Q6600 Core2 Quad @ 2.4Ghz
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Hard Drive Space Required: 15.0 GB
  • Minimum Supported Video Cards: ATI Radeon HD 5770, NVIDIA GTX 650
  • DirectX: 11.0

Here’s a brief teaser for the thing. Expect to see much, much more at EA’s E3 press conference on Monday.

To our American reads. Sadly an infection has spread over the internet in South Africa which is making many of our usually coherent and fluffy commentors speak in tongues. Please do not think the site has turned mad and not return. We are dealing with the infection as best we can. Thank you for your time. http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view2/4482325/speaking-in-tongues-o.gif

      Verskoon die Engels.

To our English readers, please disregard this comment, some of the regular Lazygamer readers have decided to joke around today in their native tongue, which is one of the official languages in South Africa. Sadly some people are not tolerant of this, even though we converse with them in their chosen language every day, we are not allowed to enjoy ourselves. Hence why the Afrikaans language is continually being discriminated against, and is slowly dying out (being one of the youngest languages in existence).

A sad state of affairs indeed.

arg, it annoys me so much with the 2014 set of games. Now they change their tune again? Theyre worse than fucking MS. i know its supposed to be good news but it just proves their ineptitude, and thats why folk should be pissed off.

    About time.

Now if EA would bring Madden back to PC, the circle would be complete.

Football is 90 mins of pretending you’re hurt. Rugby is 80 mins of pretending you’re not.
