Born and raised in the dusty town of Uitenhage, the home ground for Volkswagen SA (that’s about the extent of our claim-to-fame). Literature (mostly comics), Movies (just about any kind) and games (Battle-city, Contra, Megaman and The Jackal were the tastes for the time) were an escapist’s prescribed daily dose.
I’ve grown since then and come a long way. I still read although I may have included some more culturally, intellectually and philosophically substantial titles to the prescription. As for movies… well I’m currently finishing my Masters in Applied Media with a focus in film and script writing. And well as far as games go… that’s like asking me if I offloaded any waste at the tip today… FYI… four times! That’s right… I’m regular… I mean I get rid of… uhm the waste.
But I reckon the best way I could describe myself is like yesterday’s leftovers, cut up and mixed with some pepper dews and Miracle Whip, spread between two slices of brown (toasted) and served with a tall glass of OJ (gotta be 100% though).
