Best old gen game

What’s old is new. At least, that’s the saying. While some people have already jumped into the new generation, and others (like Darryn) have even abandoned the old generation consoles, many people are still playing the newest games on PS3 and Xbox 360. Our best game for old consoles certainly makes them feel new once more.

And the winner is… Assassin’s Creed: Rogue!

ACR fight

Assassin’s Creed has been a successful franchise for a reason. It pairs cool gameplay with incredible environments and horrible characters. After adding sailing to the third iteration, the exploration opened up in new ways, adding even more gameplay options to the already ridiculously diverse list of things to do. Assassin’s Creed: Rogue takes it to a whole new level by adding in a realistic main character and compelling storyline.

The best Assassin’s Creed that you could get this year, Rogue offers everything you’ve come to expect from the games, and more. It is fun, expansive and intriguing. Pulling together aspects from the previous games and setting the scene for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Rogue is your best bet if you’re looking for an Assassin’s Creed game in 2014. Plus, by pushing the old consoles to the absolute limit, Rogue is sure to offer old generation gamers the best experience that they’ve seen on their aging machinery.

Honorable mention:

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

I was looking at DS2 last night, it’s on my wishlist & only $14.79. So I clicked, then noticed the DLC is $30. Twice the price of the game. Heh. No.

I had that same thing with Company of Heroes 2.
“Wow, look, the game is only $9.”
Then you see the 5,000,000 DLC’s available.
      No thanks.

I’d give the award to Don Bradman cricket 14. Best sport game I played in a long time. It had it’s fair share of problems but was so much fun to play. Best Cricket game ever made.

i forgot about this game, like, totally forgot.
it was completely overlooked after unity bombed out so hard.
i guess that says something about the game, dunno how a forgotten game could beat out borderlands.
