Even though we live in an age of online communities and instant walkthroughs, there’s a human factor out there that all this technology just cannot touch. For instance, imagine being able to offer rapid-fire communication with visual aids. Hell, as much as I love YouTube, doing just that takes time. What you need is a platform that will allow you to offer such communication, instantly. What you need quite frankly, is PixiClip.

So what exactly is PixiClip? Well, to put it simply, PixiClip is an online canvas that allows you to get your message across with a webcam and your PC. Need to point out an inconsistency in a photo? The program has plenty of art tools for you to pick up and do just so. Need to walk someone through some files and pictures? Upload them instantly, fire up your webcam, say what you need to say and hey presto! An instant video without the need for tedious uploading or conversions into a friendlier visual format.

Here’s a quick clip that I knocked out within five minutes of using Pixiclip, which proves that even this monkey can get to grips with the website right from the get-go:

Although with my limited skills, I wasn’t exactly showing off what Pixiclip is capable of. Here’s a much, much better example via the use of some StarCraft:

So you have at your fingertips a screencasting whiteboard that allows you sketch, broadcast and type messages at the click of a mouse button. Best of all, it’s completely free and it offers your usual hyperlinks, social media links and embedded videos as you’ve seen above. It’s a fantastic tool, and the potential applications are staggering.

Give it a try, and see for yourself what we’re talking about.

Is the magic made with real pixies or is it vegan-friendly?

It would be useful to use PixiClip to run apps on my PC via voice.

It is something we asked the community first, and in the end, they decided it would be okay if it was clearly marked as sponsored. there was giant debate about it here. http://www.lazygamer.net/south-africa/kalahari-is-having-a-steelseries-sale-and-i-have-a-question-for-you-specifically-yes-you-reading-this-right-now/

As of now, we;ve only done 5 sponsored posts since that debate a year ago. It’s something we’d never let become intrusive in any way.

I see. I only started reading your articles (well, discovered your site) this year so I missed the debate. egamer and lazygamer are the local sites I use for my source of gaming/tech news due to the style of writing employed and the fact that there’s little to no ads. Just felt offended to see an ad as an actual article. But seeing as it was already debated and the community accepted it, guess I’ll accept it too. Sorry for my outburst :3.

Always love feedback so thanks for letting us know.

It’s hard to strike that right balance between pure news and paying the bills, our sponsored articles will always be clearly marked though and they won’t start flooding the site.
