Did you know that the pants industry is in love with gaming lately? That’s all thanks to Slender: The Eight Pages, a horror game of note that has seen pants sales rise a whopping 300%, while rubbish dumps have reported a massive increase in soiled jeans being dumped there. It’s not the prettiest game out there though, but it soon will be, as a full-fledged remake is underway to give the suspense a little touch of HD.
Creator Mark “AgentParsec” Hadley has announced on the official Slender page that his game will be getting the full remake treatment on PC, and is now being titled Slender: The Arrival. Parsec Productions has teamed up with Canadian indie developer Blue Isle Studios to start work on the revamp, with Hadley saying that the new version will include better visuals, more content and a more developed story. According to Blue Isle, The Arrival is "a bigger and better version of the game," and is "even more terrifying than his [Hadley’s] original creation."
The catch though, is that all these improvements aren’t exactly free, which means that Slender: The Arrival, is going to cost you a few bucks. On the other side of the coin, another group is also busy remaking the game into a four-player experience, by the name of Slender: Source.
There’s still some time before this game arrives, so don’t forget to to stock up on new pants and toilet paper.
