Saints Row the Third has yet to even release, but that doesn’t mean that THQ isn’t working on a sequel already for their potential blockbuster game. Speaking to G4, THQ Executive VP Danny Bilson elaborated on what the studio and publisher had up their sleeves for the next game to feature those wacky gangsters.
"Like any game, if you have a great creative core to it you just keep exploiting that core," Bilson said. "For instance,I know what Saints Row 4 is about and it is wilder than this one", he said, referring to the upcoming Saints Row: The Third.
"It’s a good example of how you take what you have and you ask, ‘what could happen in the next?" If Bilson and his crew can pump out a game that has more insanity in it than an asylum filled with split-personality clowns and Japanese game show hosts, then I might just throw my brain away before attempting to play a fourth Saints Row game.
For those of us who don’t live in the future yet, Saints Row the Third launches later this month on PC,PS3 and Xbox 360.
