Retraction of allegations of fraud made against Colin Webster

Ha you thought I'd be rude here, honest apology

In a previous article on this website titled “Is the ex MSSA President Matatheni Mosotho” I reported on a court case that had been instituted by Colin Webster’s brother in Johannesburg.

I was mistaken when I referred to that court case as an action against Colin Webster for fraud. The court case is an action by Colin Webster’s brother to have the will of Colin’s mother to be declared invalid.

There is no suggestion in the court papers that Colin had acted fraudulently, nor am I aware of any basis for this allegation.

I apologise to Colin for the error, which I regret.

Out of respect for Gavin, I won’t be rude here, even though I really really really REALLY want to.

Agreed as much as I want to make rude comments about a certain Doughnut thief I will refrain just because of Gavin.

Is this why Gavin was sued? Can someone explain to me why Gavin was sued. Cause article sounds like he lost.

The court case is ongoing. This is just a clarification of a part of the orignal article that I did fix before I was forced to take it down

      Dear Mr Ryanza

Could you please state your stance on DRM?

I try to keep DRM comments on topic and I don’t always use it. I do have other things to say.

If I can remember correctly, Gavin’s case is about freedom of speech.

So don’t support the Secrecy Bill.

Honestly lads (since the matter is still before the courts), I really don’t think you should bring this up on lagz.

Me thinks this was done after consultation with his lawyers. Nothing new to what was said in the original article before it was taken off. (as far as I know, maybe just more “formal”)

You get a noddy badge… I’ve never disputed that I got the type of case wrong. I simply misunderstood what I was originally reading.

Erm, should Colin Webster not first go into psychiatric evaluation before the court can continue? For a president of a NGO to have used a black alterego to [CENSORED] his own organisation and others is mind boggling. How SASCOC does not know about this and kicked him out for ‘racism’ etc is beyond me.

MSSA is part of SASCOC not SAFA..

Also removed that word that may get you sued

I’m starting to like this Colin chap. He’s definitely on his way to earning a room at Nkandla. Who knows, maybe one day I can share a Mojito with Col-dog and JZ by the fire-pool.

So you were now forced to apologize for that through litigation?

Well that just changes my mind about Colin Webster altogether!

No this was not a forced apology. I made a mistake in the initial article about the nature of the court case. I did update the article at that point but since I was forced to take it down the update was lost.

Incidentally the case against Colin Webster has been dismissed with costs. That just goes to show what happens to unfounded accusations!
