So this morning has been a pretty dismal one on the news front, some how I wasn’t exited to write about things that I didn’t give a rat’s buttocks about and couldn’t find anything awesome. Then I saw this article on Kotaku about a Portal gun levitating a companion cube and I was like TAKE MY MONEY!
So I’d like to show you what it looks like and stuff. Hack A Day took a commercially available portal gun replica and modified into something more “real” if you can say it that way. They took a good ‘ol “levitating” globe that functions with some magnetizing magic and fitted the magnet and coil into the portal gun replica and BOOM! Made something I have put on my buy-before-you-die list. Here’s the video, check it out.
