Get Pokemon X or Y for free

That’s right, you can get the latest and greatest Pokemon game without using Thief. In fact, it is your reward for entering the 3D era. Now maybe Darryn will finally splurge on that 3DSXL to make his tiny hands look even smaller – everyone should catch this deal.

From 1 March, Nintendo Club is offering a free download of Pokemon X or Pokemon Y when you buy and register a 2DS, 3DS or 3DSXL plus a qualifying game. That’s right, just buy a new 2DS or 3DS and one of these games:

• Mario Kart 7
• Super Mario 3D Land
• Animal Crossing: New Leaf
• Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
• LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins
• Yoshi’s New Island

When you register your new handheld and game with Club Nintendo, you’ll get a free code for Pokemon! It’s really just that simple. The offer is only valid in March, so get it soon

I must say, I love my 3DSXL – it’s a fantastic handheld and there are so many brilliant games to play. Beyond that, Darryn already told you how awesome Pokemon X and Y is – he gave the game an 8.5 and wouldn’t stop talking about it to us.

So, go buy yourself a Nintendo 2DS, 3DS or 3DSXL – you can even grab pretty ones on special through Kalahari if you feel like helping us pay our bills. Honestly, you should probably buy a 2DS or 3DSXL – they are the best and most comfortable.
