Hey, it’s Titanfall up now. Everyone loves Titanfall! And we’re about to see some new gameplay in the “Attrition” mode.

Respawn says that they’re "adding cinematic moments and set-pieces typically found in single-player campaigns and bringing them to multiplayer" for Titanfall. The multiplayer certainly does reflect that idea.

It’s still fast-paced, intense and looks gorgeous. And playing as either a mech pilot or a human definitely has pros and cons. Man, this game looks stunning at such a high frame rate. If you’ve seen any E3 footage of the game, nothing really new here.

But the game still looks damn good.

  1. No single player = no buy for my friends. And I do not like that random-stranger thing these days with all the little kiddies playing.

I think that this is a real hybrid bringing to mind the best qualities from titles like Quake, Unreal Tournament, Heavy Gear etc and thrown into a competitive battlefield. I’ll def be checking it out.
