I love the PS Vita, from the limited time that I’ve had on the console, and from when Geoff flaunted his in my face, like some kind of techo-peacock. It really is a great device, but it’s also not doing too well right now.
Currently, the PS Vita is selling way below a 100 000 units a week, in Japan, which happens to practically be the bastion of Sony gaming. That’s the equivalent of alcohol not selling well at all before a Celine Dion concert.
And with Sony restructuring, laying off thousands of workers right now, can the company continue to produce this fantastic piece of gaming hardware, in the face of such losses? What do you think? Will this be the final Camp Kill-all-the-sexy-teenagers Friday for the handheld marvel?
