I’m a big fan of FIFA and am really looking forward to the console release this week but if I look back over the last year I’ve actually played the iPad version way more than I jammed on the console.
It’s become a bit of an addiction so imagine my happiness when I saw yesterday that the new FIFA 14 has hit the iStore and apparently the Android stores as well.
The game is free and I guess they are going to try and microtransact me into submission but it won’t happen. I will hold out.
For those of you who haven’t tried FIFA on the iPad because you can’t imagine how it works then trust me and click here and download it. I was very apprehensive about it working but it really does and it’s a whole lot of fun.
Obviously not as in depth as the console or PC versions but I actually think that’s why I like it so much.

There is a $5 purchase for the “Premium Unlock” which I think unlocks Career and Tournament Mode I think? Downloading now, will try the game first a bit before I decide whether the money is worth it. Afterall, getting the console version as well!

I can picture your players falling down all the time for no reason & then being prompted to buy a right foot for $10.

Yes it’s free to download, but not to play. There is a purchase required to have access to the “full” version apparently.

Not available on the South African iTunes Store. Why, oh why does the South African iTunes Store suck septic, faeces encrusted wombat hemmorhoids?
