BISMARCK SMASH

Hey! If you’re done watching the sports entertainment highlights package from the state of the nation address last night, then we’ve got some more sporting goodness on the horizon for you. Because sports, guys, sports. SPERTS!

Remember, we’re hosting a Cricket World Cup Superbru tournament right now. Wickets, bats, heavy balls and puh-rizes baby! Here’s a reminder of what you can win:

  • 1 x Ryan McLaren Protea signed shirt and a copy of Don Bradman Cricket game
  • 1 x Knight shirt – signed by the whole team and a copy of Don Bradman Cricket game
  • 1 x Knight shirt, unsigned and a copy of Don Bradman Cricket game

To enter, merely sign up right over…hang on, I’ve almost got….here! With this link! The Cricket World Cup kicks off today, so start hustling to get your picks in. Because c’mon guys, do you really want to say that Darryn has more points than you in a sports contest? What would your mother say? Hold that thought, I’ll ask her, because I’m going to be a winner.

But wait, there’s more! A Lazygamer Rugby World Cup Superbru pool is also busy being set up, and the guys are busy organising prizes for that event as well. Apparently regby is popular, which most likely explains why the guys say “on the other hand Darryn” to me every single day. Go figure. GO SPERTS!

  1. To bad my country doesnt invest in sports, since nobody is going nowhere, but that header could have used Jason in the ruck, so funny…XD

To me it was Ryan or wayward Wayne. Ryan is a better and more consistent allrounder but when Wayne does actually bowl properly he’s rather devastating. Pity for Ryan.

D, as LG’s dedicated sports writer can you explain to me how a run out is effected if the bails have already been knocked off the stumps? *innocent look*

Trick question: One, there is no ball. It is in fact actually a horseshoe that has been flung onto the tennis court.
Two: Depending on how silly the run of the swimmer has become, various points may be awarded.

      😮 Summoned the ‘D’?

I believe you have to remove a stump out of the ground if both bails have been knocked off.

      haha. That is cruel.

I once asked the same from my girlfriend. She came up with a surprisingly good answer, which I won’t say in case Darryn steals it.
