I liked the first bit of DLC for Assassin’s Creed 3. But that’s just what it was. A bit. Too short, and with little to do after the brief campaign ended, it felt more like a tease than anything else. It’s only part one of three though, and hopefully, part deux can pick up the pace.
In the first part of the Tyranny of King Washington, Connor found himself reality-warped with a jump to the left, to a world where George Washington had gone coocoo bananas. That’s a scientific term by the way.
In part 1, Connor went into Bravestarr territory by drinking a special tea (WHO’S LAUGHING NOW, HUH?), that gave him the stealth of the wolf. And it worked wonderfully. There was a fine line between using it advantageously, and abusing it, as it came with a health bar caveat.
And in episode 2, it looks like Connor can spread his wings and fly. It also looks like we’ll be walking around a more densely populated area, as Connor finds himself trapped by the Bluecoats of King Washington.
The next DLC is out March 19, for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
