Saying that Neon Genesis Evangelion is big in Japan, is like stating that rugby is popular over here. It’s a statement so obvious, that it’s redundant. The original emo show may have concluded years ago, but tie-ins and merchandising has kept it alive and well since then. Neon Genesis Evangelion: Q 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo a follow-on from the remake movies Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone and Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance, is the penultimate chapter in the current Rebuild of Evangelion franchise. A fourth and final chapter is on the way, that will also include brand new material to keep the story going into the future.
