Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (*Breathe*) Available on XBLA

 - November 27th, 2008
SF2THDR...That's quite a combination of letters and numbers. The good news is that the new HD version of the classic Street Fighter 2 Turbo finally became available yesterday on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN.I posted up a video of the gameplay for anyone interested who wants to check out the new look but it is easy to see that it is still exactly the same game as it was before. Is that a bad thing? I really don't think so and the fact that they went through all of the effort to ... [»]

Now there’s something that you don’t hear everyday

 - November 27th, 2008
Ok, I know that this is quite a strange one and I was quite lost at how to really explain it but I found it rather interesting anyway. The people at Maxim magazine were able to get an interview with the man behind the Mortal Kombat voice, Hernan Sanchez. 1UP report that instead of boring the poor man with strange questions, they decided to have him read some absurd lines of text into a microphone instead. They then compiled it into this rather nifty little flash movie that allows you to click on the phrases and listen to them.Maxim had the following to say:"We put Mr. Sanchez and his thundering larynx to the test with some of our own alternatives, ranging from nerd favorite phrases like "Epic Fail" to what we're expecting to play right after the President-elect's swearing in ceremony on January 20. Enjoy!"Thanks Maxim! Things like this are completely useless in the real world and even a little unnecessary and that's exactly the reason why it's awesome! So there you go, click on some of the buttons and giggle as you hear him say strange things like "tickle him" and "Obama Wins, Flawless Victory". It's quite a hoot.source: Maxim via 1UP You Really Care
Zero Punctuation: Guitar Hero World Tour

 - November 27th, 2008
Yahtzee has been relegated to 11am this week as punishment for being a royal pain in the a$$.Okay I am sure it wasn't him or buggered up the embedding code but that's not the point... The fact that he most probably couldn't care less is also beside the point. This week Yahtzee attempts to love Guitar Hero World Tour but in reality he spends more time complaining about the lack of Rock Band in Australia, which is relevant because if you change the word Australia to South Africa it makes it feel local... Call of Duty: World at War – Reviewed – XBox 360

 - November 27th, 2008
With Call of Duty: World at War (CoD:WaW), Treyarch went back to the most major conflict in world history, World War II. Its predecessor was situated in the modern day and quite a few people (me amongst them) felt that they made a mistake going back to the WWII scene. Let’s have a look to see whether this is in fact the case. The ... [»]

“PS3-Mote” Seen in Action – Is this the future for Sony?

Sonic Unleashed 'Launch' trailer How about a round of applause for another mediocre Sonic game? No? I didn't think so. You'Â’ll have to excuse me but I lost all faith in there being another decent Sonic game years ago. Cooking Mama World Kitchen 'Infomercial' TV ad Tired of the same old meals day after day? Soggy vegetables, chicken pie, and peanut butter sandwiches are a thing of the past. Well according to this Cooking Mama ad anyway. I love the style of this ad, it seems more like an infomercial for another "Mama" than it does an ad for a game. Well done Majesco.
