PS3 brings in the money for EA

 - July 31st, 2008
Okay I am confused…In November last year it was announced that the 360 brought in something silly like 12 times more money for EA than the PS3.Fast forward through to July 2008 and now the PS3 is bringing EA 1.5 times the amount of money as the 360…But having said that, I haven’t seen a single PS3 EA game that has outsold the 360 version by 12:1 or even 2:1…So how did this happen? Can anyone remember what was released in Q1 2008 on the PS3 that did so well?Another notable number is that the PS3’s sales are up 969% year on yearSource: Eurogamer.net Getting There

Latest Dreamcast game released

 - July 31st, 2008

Actually a company called Hucast seriously need to accept that. Hucast.net has just confirmed that DUC for the Dreamcast is about to be released on the 28th of August 2008. Granted they don’t expect it to be a huge commercial success but wouldn’t it have made more sense to release this as a XNA titles instead ... [»]

Zero Punctuation: E3

 - July 31st, 2008
This week Yahtzee takes aim at E3 itself, but not at its minimal size or lack of importance but more at how non eventful all the games actually were. However I just can't help but point out that even in his attempt to insult every game that was unveiled at E3 he also managed to completely ignore Killzone 2.I haven't seen a games hype drop so dramatically and so quickly in my life before. This was meant to be the game that was going to redefine a genre and in it's final E3 ... [»]
