| | Far Cry 2 Tech Demo: Not environment friendly | Nick de Bruyne - May 29th, 2008 | The more and more I see footage of this game the more I am becoming excited to get my hands on it. This latest tech demo from Ubidays 2008 shows off a whole heap of tech features that the game is going to be utilising.Dynamic weather, fire propagation and full 24 hour day/night cycle are just some of the features that we can look forward too. So as far as the tech is concerned, I am sold. The only question is, whether ... [»] |

| Where’s Sam gone? | Lazygamer - May 29th, 2008 | Ubidays has been up and running and within all the chaos that is Prince of Persia, Beyond Good and Evil and the awesome Raving Rabbids there is one huge title that is just no where to be seen.
Sam Fischer has gone AWOL, there is no sign of Splinter Cell: Conviction anywhere...
There are however rumours that the entire project has been taken back to the drawing board so I wouldn't hold you breath for this one....

| Geekpulp gives their thoughts on LBP | Lazygamer - May 29th, 2008 | This is the first time I have read anything about LBP where some issues were mentioned and if the only issues that they currently have are framerate and temporary stalls then I think it is safe to say we are going to see this game this year.Everything else written about the game sounds fantastic and what really impressed me was how easy the game sounds to take up... I was a little worried that it was going to be a very difficulty game to actually play properly but apparently it only takes 3 controls ... [»] |

"MGS4 it is, without a doubt, one of the greatest games of all time"
Now that is quite a strong choice of words so hopefully the game backs it ... [»] |

| Zero Punctuation: The World Ends With You | Lazygamer - May 29th, 2008 | It's rubbish day today.. which means Zero Punctuation day...This week Yahtzee has decided to dip his toe into the world of JRPG's and, like me, he isn't a fan of them.I don't really think it would be fair to judge this game on this review, but it's Yahtzee so we have to listen... It's good this week but it doesn't really compete with some of his better ones, I think it's time someone forced Solider of Fortune onto him though... |

| Bioshock PS3: First Screenshots | Nick de Bruyne - May 29th, 2008 | The first screenshots of Bioshock on the PS3 have emerged. Now, I'm not going to lie, the screens pretty much look no different to any others I have ever seen on the 360. Granted, with the extra time that has been spent on the version for ... [»] |

| Public Relations Bull**** affecting game reviews | Nick de Bruyne - May 28th, 2008 | Stephen Totilo posted a short piece about communications between game companies and game reviewers on his MTV blog today.
Now what this is, is an example of the kind of crap that goes on in the industry every single day. What happened is that Totilo was ... [»] |

| Grid Gameplay Footage | Nick de Bruyne - May 28th, 2008 | For all of you that weren't able to download the GRID demo, Gametrailers.com is hosting a week dedicated to showing off more about GRID.
This is a video of the Dodge Viper charging around on one of the games beautiful tracks. Although there have been a few people who have not taken a liking to the games driving mechanics, the first reviews are looking good and the game seems set to sell like crazy with the demo boasting more than a million downloads. |

| Red vs Blue – It’s baaaccckkkk | Lazygamer - May 28th, 2008 | Some things are just to good to stay away and I am glad to see that Red vs Blue has decided to return.Red vs Blue is set in the Halo universe but don't let that fool you, it really has very little to do with Halo..I have always loved the humour in RvB and it has become so famous that they actually put a RvB easter egg into the last Halo release which you can see above since I can't get the new one to embed right now.... follow the link for the new ... | MGS Retrospective – part 4 | Etienne Vlok - May 28th, 2008 | So, we’ve finally arrived at the main event of our Metal Gear retrospective: the plot summary. As you could imagine, it gets pretty overwhelming when trying to summarize the most important plot points of a series more than two decades in the making. As such, I’ll try and hit on the critical elements in ... [»] |

| Multiplayer included in Star Wars: FU for Xbox 360 | Lazygamer - May 28th, 2008 | doobiwan posted a comment yesterday that got my mind thinking.
As we know the multi-player section of Star Wars: Force Unleashed is not going to be included in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game (click) but strangely enough it is going to be included in the Wii version.
Now this never made any sense to me and was met with anger and amazement by the general community, however now that Microsoft has patented and virtually confirmed the existence of their Newton ... [»] |

| The Digital Birds and Robotic Bees | Nick de Bruyne - May 28th, 2008 | A bloke by the name of Daniel Floyd ( A professor actually) was inspired by the Escapist Magazine videos by Yahtzee and decided to start making some videos of his own.
What impresses me the most is that he states that he took inspiration from Yahtzee but the style and tone of the videos are completely his own. In this video he gives a lecture on the topic of sex in videogames. It's really great and also makes a lot of legitimate points.
It may not be entirely work safe, however I don't recall hearing any ... [»] |
