Gavin Mannion - January 29th, 2008 | I remember someone mentioned to me a long time ago that they think Sony has a whole pile of old hard drives and they are using the PS3 to get rid of them. You know what, I think they may have a point. We have had 20GB, 40GB, 60GB and 80GB PS3's so far and now it is being rumoured that we need to keep an eye out for 120 or 160GB models coming soon. | Warner Supporting HD-DVD longer than stated? | 
Gavin Mannion - January 28th, 2008 | I am sure it's just a glitch in the matrix but it seems that Warner's promise of no longer releasing HD-DVD's after May is not entirely correct. According to their release schedule they are publishing HD-DVD titles for at least 3 weeks after that date, these releases include some blockbusters like I Am Legend and Justice League. So far we have had a South African Petition, a Polish Petition and a Greek Petition. All of these petitions have been directed at Microsoft however the Romanians are being slightly more imaginative. | No Metal Gear Solid Demo | 
Gavin Mannion - January 26th, 2008 | I posted about the rumoured MGS4 demo a few days ago and in that posting I said that I felt demo's were a very risky thing to do unless you were 100% convinced of your game. Well it seems that Konami may possibly agree with me, or more than likely they have a better reason not to release a demo. Either way they have come out and debunked the rumour about any demo hitting the PSN before the games official release. The gameplay itself looks interesting enough but I don't think I will ever understand how the Japanese justify there advertising.... Why would a half naked women in a bikini be playing this game? |

According to their corporately worded press release they are planning on strengthening their product pipeline... Whatever that means. The reality of it however is that Frontlines: Fuel of War has been canned on the PS3 (it is still coming to the Xbox 360 and I think PC) and Destroy all humans: Big Willy Unleased (couldn't make it up if I tried) has been canned for the PS2 Not happy ...
