So the first sub $200 HD-DVD player has hit the shelves in America and has been reviewed by CNET. $200 has always been perceived as the mass market uptake point for the US and obviously if the 200 million Americans decide to go with HD-DVD the big American studios will be right behind them. Well some suprising news doing the rounds this morning, it seems like all those reports of the Xbox 360 beating the Wii in September were a little pre-mature. This game is just looking better and better. This is yet another teaser review of the game that many people are tipping to be the true game of the year. I think on the multi-player side it is easily going to be the most popular console game in South Africa since we don't have that Halo heritage.
Time for some shameless advertising. There is a new gaming magazine bundled with this months CAR magazine called UGS. Ultimate Gaming Station I was lucky enough to be involved in doing some of the write ups for the magazine, which was a first for me and quite an interesting experience.
