Japanese GOW Ads?

 - March 30th, 2007
So after Sony got mauled in the media for their awful PS3 TV ads it looks like Microsoft did not want to be left out in the cold. They have now released a few viral marketing TV ads to get the popularity of Gears of War in Japan increased. I for completely understand Microsoft's frustration with the Japenese gamers. They don't seem to make any sense. I can only imagine it was a Japanese advertising firm that came up with this and it makes absolutely no sense to me at all. What ... [»]

Mass Effect Has a Release Date – 5 June 2007

 - March 29th, 2007
The rumours are going around that the most anticipated RPG for 2007 - Mass Effect will hit the Americans shelves on the 5th of June 2007. As always expect it to arrive here say about 2 weeks later. This game has caused a lot of interest on the net and it really does look like a fascinating game. It is being said that the graphics in this game will set the new standard for the Xbox 360 which is saying a lot as Gears of War has been holding that standard for some time now. I for one am really looking forward to this, only 2 and a bit months to go... Damn... Getting There

Worst Gaming Cover of All Time

 - March 28th, 2007
I personally think that is the worst ever gaming cover of all time. I mean it's just plain creepy really..... IGN has a list of the worst 25 covers of all time and they rated this one 5th (as you can see by the pretty gold block in the corner). So it makes you think what could possibly be worse than this? Now as absolutely awful as this Ninja Golf cover is I still don't think it beats the weird old man in the top cover. I mean the name of the game is Phalanx.... I really wonder what these marketing people do all day to come up with names and designs like these two... If you want to check out some equally bad covers follow the link to see how IGN rated their 25 worst covers of all time. IGN 25 Most Awesome Covers Getting There
